We are an agro industrial company that produces and manufactures food and renewable energy. We have a strong entrepreneurial culture and we continuously work towards improving every aspect of our operations.

2002
Adecoagro was founded through the initial acquisition of 75 thousand hectares of prime farmland in Argentina.

2004
We began our regional expansion into Uruguay and Brazil to continue the production of crops under a sustainable model.

2005
We entered the Sugar, Ethanol & Energy industry in Brazil through the acquisition of Monte Alegre mill in Minas Gerais.

2006
We continued to expand our presence in the sugarcane business through the construction of Angélica mill in Mato Grosso do Sul (Brazil), taking the initial step in the construction of our Cluster.

2007
We grew our rice business in Argentina through the incorporation of land, two rice mills and the Molinos Ala brand for the local market. We began the construction of our first free-stall dairy facility in Santa Fe (Argentina).

2008
Angelica mill in Mato Grosso do Sul (Brazil) began operations.

2009
Monte Alegre mill received an investment to increase its electric energy capacity from 2.5 to 18.0 megawatts.

2010
Angelica mill began to produce sugar.

2011
We listed the company in the New York Stock Exchange. At the same time, we began the construction of Ivinhema, our second mill in Mato Grosso do Sul (Brazil), consolidating our Sugar, Ethanol & Energy Cluster.

2012
We began the construction of the second free stall dairy facility in Santa Fe, achieving an annual production of 95 million liters of top quality milk.

2013
We opened our commercial office in Uruguay. Ivinhema, our second mill in our Cluster in Mato Grosso do Sul, started operations.

2015
We boosted the production of sugar at the Ivinhema mill.

2016
We implemented our “continuous harvest model” in our Cluster in Mato Grosso do Sul (Brazil)

2017
Inauguration of a biodigestor for the generation of electric energy in our free-stalls. We launched our healthy snacks line under Molinos Ala brand for the Argentine market. Angélica mill increased its crushing capacity.

2018
We inaugurated our rice snack production facility in Pilar and a parboiled rice plant in Entre Ríos, both in Argentina, in addition to the beginning of operations of our third high productivity free-stall. We finalized our crops operations in Brazil and started producing organic sugar at Monte Alegre mill.

2019
We acquired two milk processing facilities in Argentina and the trademarks Las Tres Niñas, Apóstoles and Angelita. In addition, we acquired a peanut processing facility in Córdoba (Argentina). Ivinhema mill began producing biogas through the use of concentrated vinasse.

2021
We consolidated the Dairy Business after the construction of the 4 high-productivity free stall, and with the expansion of our product portfolio with new launches.

2022
We expanded our rice operations in Argentina and Uruguay. In 2022, we added 3 processing plants and 2 drying and storage plants.
